Popsy and Mama Spring styling ideas

Happy Friday! It's been a while since we published a blog post, we've been busy getting your spring orders made and taking a little time away from the social side of things. It felt right to take a little step back and reflect on what is happening in the world!

While we've been enjoying half-term and watching the sun start to tempt us with its face, we have been reflecting on the awful situation that is unfolding in Ukraine. We appreciate it is on lots of our minds and didn't want to brush it under the carpet and not share our solitude for the Ukrainian's who are having their country ripped apart in the most dreadful way. Our thoughts are with them and we remain in hope that something can be done to stop it all.

We are in the midst of preparing for Poppy's 10th Birthday and I have made a start on her birthday cake for the weekend, everything is about Harry Potter these days and she's chosen a Monster Book of Monsters cake - wish me luck! Whilst it may not look entirely like the photo we have pinned on Pinterest it will be made with love and pride. I've been enjoying making her birthday cakes for the last 10 years and I really do enjoy it!

Thank you for your wonderful Spring orders

A huge big thank you for your Spring orders. I'm thrilled you love the new prints as much as me! There have been some big favourites with you and I can see you're loving the popular story inspired prints of The Snail and the Whale, Dear Zoo and The very hungry caterpillar! We have some classics in this collection too, with Little Women proving a popular choice too. I personally am loving your preference for the bolder, brighter coloured prints and I've made some changes to future collections to reflect this. I have also made the decision to move solely to Childhood Tales and will no longer feature any non story inspired prints; it feels a bold decision but it's clear from your orders that these are you preferred options at Popsy and Mama.

Spring styling ideas

As Spring orders are dropping onto your doormats, I thought it was a good time to talk styling ideas. I always get excited about deciding what to pair Poppy's new clothes with - and I know my Brand Reps do too.

So, my rep team and I have been keeping ourselves busy finding lots of lovely outfit choices for you and we really hope you find some inspiration in the merging shop small and the high street.

Please share your pictures with me by tagging @popsyandmama and #popsyandmama when you get your order. I'd love to see what you all style the new Spring prints with.

Happy reading and have a fabulous weekend.

I Wrote To The Zoo

The fun and colourful styling of this design has captured a lot of your hearts. It was a favourite story of Poppy's when she was little.
