Muddy Stilettos 2021 Berkshire Awards Night

I thought we would do things a little differently this week. I wanted to share with you an inside scoop to the muddy stilettos award night we attended on Tuesday.

Hi

Where to begin? Shall we start with the fact that the summer has flown by that the little people in our life are back to school or maybe even just starting school.

We did take a little time this summer to enjoy some family time and now school has resumed its back into full swing with all your beautiful orders.

From the bottom of my heart I wanted to say a massive thank you to you all! Not just for your votes that saw Popsy and Mama take best children’s brand in Berkshire but for every single thing you do to support this dream of ours. Every order is greatly appreciated and of course the growth wouldn’t have been possible without you. With Instagram being our biggest traffic driver every like, share, save and tag really is invaluable to the business.

The Host

Muddy Stilettos host a number of awards across the south of England. They very kindly organise a celebration to commemorate the winners of the awards. An astonishing 75,000 businesses were nominated and 750,000 votes cast across the 25 Muddy counties – making this year the biggest and best Muddy Awards to date.

But who are Muddy Stilettos? Regularly featured in the broadsheet newspapers and glossy magazines and named one of the Top 20 Next Gen media brands in 2020, they help 250,000+ readers across 25 counties to make the most of their precious free time with expert info on the best local pubs, boutique hotels, new openings, family-friendly days and under-the-radar events.

Independence, careful curation, in-the-know info and a naughty sense of humour sets Muddy Stilettos apart from the competition

Rachel of Muddy Berks is a very experienced lifestyle journalist who switched the hustle and bustle of the city for the country life.

Thank you Rachel for the opportunity and for hosting a wonderful evening.

The Venue

The beautiful new venue that opened in July is definitely going to be a very popular destination for a variety of functions. The tall glass window let so much natural light into the building that it really warms the natural tones of room. Definitely checkout The Post Barn if you're local.

The Sponsor

Ok so those that know me know I'm partial to a G&T its really lovely to have a local brand to support too! I mean I'm not going to lie they might be a feature at our garden socials.

Berkshire Botanical Gins are copper pot distilled and then gently infused with botanicals. Based in the beautiful village of Yattendon, rural Berkshire, their inspiration comes from the flora and the fauna on the 9,000 acre Yattendon Estate.

The Honey and Orange Blossom might be my favourite.
