Exclusive preview of my handmade children's clothes collection for Spring 2020
Updated: Aug 21, 2020
Take a peek behind the scenes at the photoshoot for Popsy and Mama's Spring Collection 2020.
A behind the scenes look at how Popsy and Mama's first 'real' photoshoot went, and introducing you to the people who helped make it happen.
At the end of January I held my first 'real' photoshoot for Popsy and Mama to showcase my spring 2020 collection of handmade children's clothes. It's always been a dream of mine to capture each season in a magazine-style shoot. I can't believe a few weeks ago that dream came true!
My wonderful Brand Reps kindly agreed to help make it happen and joined me in Cannock, West Midlands, for a day of Popsy and Mama fun.
We were all travelled from different sides of the country. We had Brand Reps coming from Scotland, Cornwall, East Anglia, the South Coast, and from Berkshire was myself, Poppy and Rachel Mullin's, the very important photographer. Some of us drove up together in a minibus. You can image the (chaotic) fun we had!
The photoshoot
Everyone excitedly greeted each other upon arrival at a school in Cannock (our base for the photoshoot). I had to pinch myself several times knowing the parents and children travelled all that way for Popsy and Mama.
Many of the Brand Rep children have never met. But, before we knew it, they were giggling, running and enjoying each other's company. All 20 of them!
We got to work straight away. The back drop went up and Popsy and Mama's Spring Collection 2020 came out. The children started trying on the new collection and telling us their (very honest) opinions. You can always rely on children to tell you the truth!
My Brand Reps do an amazing job taking pictures of my handmade outfits on their adventures. I thought it was about time I introduced them to you properly. So here they are, they're a gorgeous bunch!

The final snaps
Now you've met the gorgeous children who are in Popsy and Mama's Spring Collection 2020 pictures, here's an exclusive preview of a few behind the scenes shots.

That's a wrap
Once we'd called "that's a wrap" the children (who had all done so well) had a run around Cannock Chase, before heading home.
I love looking at the pictures of them smiling and enjoying themselves. It's nice knowing Popsy and Mama has bought this bunch of little people together. Many I'm sure will become life long friends!
Thank you to Rachel Mullins Photography
Finally, before I call it a wrap on this blog post I want to say one final thank you to Rachel Mullins Photography. I've met Rachel at a few events and am always impressed with her work. I was delighted when Rachel said "yes" to travelling 2 hours to photograph my Spring 2020 collection. She's very talented! If you're ever looking for a photographer for your business, family lifestyle pictures, or a bump to baby photoshoot, Rachel comes highly recommended!
